The gateway to the country, Delhi enjoys a strategic location. It is well-connected internationally as well as domestically. The city has been the center of the many ruling dynasties who chose it as their seat of power. Unsurprisingly, what constitutes Delhi today, is a conglomerate of seven cities. New Delhi, also known as Lutyen’s Delhi reflects the legacy the British left behind with many interesting monuments. Every nook and corner you visit, you will inadvertently come across the glorious past.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of India’s vibrant capital, seamlessly blending its ancient Mughal core with the magnificent architecture of the British Raj.
The tour begins in Old Delhi with a visit to Raj Ghat, the serene and simple memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Next, marvel at the imposing red sandstone walls of the Red Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site, closed Mondays), a masterpiece of Mughal design built by Emperor Shah Jahan.
Experience the true chaos and charm of the old city with an exhilarating cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow, vibrant lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and most fascinating markets.
After a local lunch (payable directly), the journey continues to Humayun’s Tomb, a stunning 16th-century mausoleum set within beautifully symmetrical Persian gardens, widely considered the precursor to the Taj Mahal.
Next, discover the impressive Qutub Minar (India’s tallest stone tower) and its surrounding complex, rich with intricate ancient carvings.
The latter part of the day involves a drive through the grand avenues of Lutyen’s New Delhi, passing the imposing Parliament House and the majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House). Conclude the tour at the iconic India Gate, a solemn war memorial.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, proceed your drive to Agra, the medieval city that famously served as the capital of the Mughal Emperors. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy lunch (payable directly).
Agra: Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, Agra is synonymous with the grandeur of the Mughal Empire (1526–1658). It is now a major tourist destination, home to three magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri.
Meet your local guide and begin your immersion in the city’s rich history.
The Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays): Visit the world-famous monument to eternal love. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1632 and 1653 as the final resting place for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, this stunning mausoleum is the quintessential example of Mughal architecture, representing the Islamic concept of ‘paradise on earth’.
Agra Fort: Explore the imposing red sandstone citadel that predates the Taj Mahal. This strategic brick fort was originally held by the Chauhan Rajputs before becoming the principal residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638. Its history spans centuries of power and architecture.
Itimad-ud-Daulah (“The Baby Taj”): Conclude the city tour with a visit to this exquisite Mughal mausoleum. Built by Nur Jahan (wife of Emperor Jahangir), it is often called the “Baby Taj” due to its resemblance to the main monument, showcasing a crucial transition in Mughal design with its extensive use of white marble and delicate pietra dura inlay work.
Following the visits, return to your hotel for rest and relaxation.

Today after breakfast, check out from the Hotel and then drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri – which is a beautiful and deserted medieval city, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. It was mysteriously abandoned 13 years later. Today, it is perfectly preserved as a ghost city built at the height of the empire’s splendor
Post visit continue your drive to Jaipur and upon arrival in the afternoon check into your hotel with rest evening is free.
Jaipur: The captivating ‘Pink City’ is the beautifully planned capital of Rajasthan, founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The city is renowned for its distinctive, predominantly rose-coloured buildings and its rich royal heritage. As India’s first planned city, it offers wide avenues, bustling bazaars, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a global hub for exquisite jewellery and traditional arts and crafts.

After breakfast proceed for a full day city tour with your local expert guide to visit the Amber Fort by Non AC Jeep.
Amber Fort – cradled on the top of a hill near Jaipur lies the Amer Fort, one of the most magnificent palaces in India. Also commonly known as the Amber Fort, this majestic building with its maze-like passages and serpentine staircases is an architectural masterpiece and with significant importance in Indian history. Only 11 kms away from Jaipur, Amer Fort is clad in pink and yellow sandstone and is a part of an extensive complex. Built by one of the most trusted generals of Akbar, Maharaja Man Singh I in 1592, Amer Fort served as the main residence of the Rajput Rulers.
Later visit Jaipur city including The Maharaja’s City Palace – A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Deva Temple and the City Palace Museum.
Jantar Mantar ( Observatory) – This is the largest and best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country.
Hawa Mahal – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a landmark in Jaipur. Its five – storey structure of pink sandstone encrusted with fine tellies work and balconies has 953 inches and windows. It was built in 1799 by Pratap Singh and was a royal grandstand for palace women.
Johari Bazaar – The main bazaar is in the old city for jewellery and saris.
Post visit, you can spend some time in the local market shopping around as Jaipur is known as shopping paradise. Later return to the Hotel for rest and relaxation.

The city is also a hub for adventure, offering white-water rafting, trekking, and camping amidst scenic landscapes. Famous landmarks like the iconic Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula bridges, along with the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, make Rishikesh a blend of serenity, culture, and natural beauty.
Early in the morning enjoy Yoga activities in the Hotel for 60 minutes. Later, enjoy your breakfast at the Hotel. Post breakfast leave the Hotel for city tour of Rishikesh visiting Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat etc.
Laxman Jhula is a famous suspension bridge in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, spanning the Ganga River. According to legend, it marks the spot where Lord Laxman, brother of Lord Rama, crossed the river on a jute rope. Built in 1929, the 450-foot-long bridge offers stunning views of the river and the surrounding temples and ashrams, making it a major attraction for pilgrims and tourists alike.
Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh is a sacred bathing spot where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati are believed to meet. It is a bustling spiritual hub, famous for its daily Ganga Aarti, a beautiful and serene ritual performed with lamps, chants, and devotional music. Pilgrims visit Triveni Ghat to take a holy dip, believing it washes away sins and grants spiritual purification.
Post visit return to the Hotel for Lunch on direct payment.
Post lunch, leave the Hotel to visit Parmarth Ashram followed by Aarati Ceremony at the Ghat of Parmarth Ashram.
Parmarth Ashram in Rishikesh is a renowned spiritual center located on the banks of the Ganga River. Founded in 1942, it is famous for its peaceful environment, daily yoga and meditation sessions, and the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti held at sunset. The ashram also hosts the annual International Yoga Festival, drawing participants from around the world. Post Ashrams visit, proceed to witness the evening Aarti Ceremony at the Ghat and then return to the Hotel for overnight stay.

Amritsar, located in Punjab, is a city steeped in history and culture, renowned for the stunning Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), which attracts millions for its spiritual significance and free community meals. Visitors can explore the poignant Jallianwala Bagh memorial, commemorating the tragic 1919 massacre, and witness the lively Wagah Border ceremony, showcasing Indian-Pakistani patriotism. The city is also famous for its vibrant markets and delectable Punjabi cuisine, including dishes like Amritsari kulcha and lassi, making Amritsar a captivating blend of heritage, spirituality, and hospitality.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Post breakfast proceed on a half day city tour of Amritsar visiting Golden Temple – the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. The Golden Temple sits on a rectangular platform, surrounded by a pool of water called the Amrit Sarovar after which the city is named. Visitors must remove their shoes, wash their feet and cover their heads with a scarf while entering Golden Temple.
Witness the preparation of Langar (food) at Golden temple kitchen. It serves free vegetarian food for thousands of people every day.
The Royal Crown – You can participate and experience the Turban tying – Turban is a royal crown in Sikh community for both men & women which is a gift from the spiritual Sikh Guru and it conveys royalty, grace and uniqueness.
Jallianwala Bagh – This place is known for a mournful act that happened on 13 April 1919, British Indian Army soldiers under the command of Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer opened fire on an unarmed gathering of men, women and children and killed 379 people.
Post visit, return to the Hotel for Lunch on direct payment and then have some rest and relax.
Later this afternoon, you will be picked up by your guide and proceed to Wagah Border at around 3:30 PM to witness the “Change of Guard” ceremony at Wagah Border between India and Pakistan armies.
The Change of Guard ceremony at Amritsar, held at the Wagah Border, is a spectacular and vibrant display of patriotism and military precision. It occurs daily at sunset, showcasing the ceremonial lowering of the flags by Indian and Pakistani soldiers. The ceremony features impressive drills, synchronized movements, and energetic marching, accompanied by cheers from the enthusiastic crowd. This unique event symbolises the strong spirit of both nations and offers a glimpse into their military traditions, making it a popular attraction for visitors seeking to experience a blend of culture and nationalism.

Early morning in time transfer to the train station to board the Superfast Train for Amritsar. Breakfast will be served on board at no extra cost.
